Good morning. Can this presentation be emailed?
Hi, Everyone. Thank you for joining today! Please feel free to submit any questions in the chat. We will address during the last 10 minutes of the session. We will also provide a FAQ document accessible via our website based on your questions today. Thanks!

Is this funding is for one year or multiple years.
At CIS Houston, we provide school-based mental health services and refer students to community mental health partners for additional services. We are not able to require families to submit income information due to confidentiality, however more than 90% of our students are eligible for Free/Reduced Lunch and other social programs. If we received grant funding, could we supply proxy data (e.g. family has CHIP, Gold Card, Free/Reduced Lunch, etc.) in place of asking for family income?
Is a program that provides healthy lifestyle through after-school sports for students on free-and-reduced lunch an option for the Community Benefits Grant?
Is the CBGP interested in funding programs that work with low income individuals to assist them, so they do not need to enter the healthcare system? For example, nutrition training for avoiding or reducing the likelihood of diabetes? Or Mind-Body Skills for dealing with trauma (hurricane flooded your home)?
So for the Mental Health Innovation grant, the emphasis seems to be more on access. Could you elaborate on how innovation plays into this? Will a request that proposes to increase access in an innovative way be given greater consideration? Or will a request that proposes providing greater access to an innovative mental health service be given greater consideration? Or Both, neither, or something else? Hopefully that makes sense!
when will the DEI opportunity open again?
Would funding for mental health care provider training/certification be an eligible expense?
Would a Peer Specialist be considered clinical for the mental health grant?
I had the same question as Katherine Bauer.
Is there any way to get a list of questions that's comprehensive with all the "conditional" elements expanded? It's VERY hard to work on this collaboratively when new questions keep cropping up.
I have the same question as Kathryn Jones: Would you consider a request from a current DEI grantee?
Could you clarify whether the board list and LOI are to be submitted in one pdf document?
Will this rap fund nutrition incentive programs?
If we request renewal funding, can it be towards a past initiative from 2021 or is it only for the current FY 2022 initiatives?
Does the grant fund preventive services such as a blood pressure clinic?
Thank you, Ryane and Kola!
Can we apply for both community benefits and mental health?
Yes. You can apply for both CB and MHI grant
Thank you very much!
Thank you so much!
